Lemn Sissay (innate 1967) is a British poet. He is known for performances of his poetry, solo & besides by owning jazz fusion groups, when well as act sustaining schoolchildren. He occurs as dramatist, & has worked in radio & television drama. He appears on the Leftfield album Leftism.

He was innate around Billinge near Wigan, Greater Manchester, of Ethiopian parents. His 2004 drama Something Dark deals using his research for his personal, when his early fostering. It was broadcast in BBC Radio 3 in 2005.
